Monastic Productions was formed in September 2006 by scriptwriters Matthew Graham and Ashley Pharoah. Having devised, developed, written and advised on 16 episodes of hit drama "LIFE ON MARS", it seemed churlish not to continue and deepen the creative partnership. The company aim is to generate exciting, high-concept TV drama in conjunction with more established producing partners.
